Summer news
A few days ago you returned from training in Zakopane. What was it like? The hill in Zakopane is one of my favourite hills, so I really like it whenever I go there! Moreover, the autumn weather was really nice and the training on the large hill was superior.
In a few weeks, the World Cup and the Continental Cup is beginning. What are you going to focus on before that?
At the moment, I concentrate mainly on the right taking-off technique, on losing some weight and stretching.
The first Continental Cup competitions begin in Harrachov, the next week World Cup takes place in Harrachov. How do you feel about these home competitions?
I think it's great that we can compete on our home hills for the first two weekends in December and I am looking forward enormously to both competitions!
Do you prefer competitions in Harrachov, where you can enjoy the national fans but at the same time you know the hill perfectly, or abroad?
A competition taking place at home is always a driving force for sportsmen as they want to give the best possible performance there! This feeling can be a bit binding, but it certainly is a special occasion to represent the Czech Republic at home compared to the rest of the season abroad.
What do you wish for the Harrachov competition?
I won't be thinking of any particular result - that would come automatically with good jumps during the competition!
